Indian Falls Dental Center

The Project

Adam Price from Indian Falls Dental Center in North East Maryland came to us looking to build his own office that he would own instead of leasing. They wanted a "non traditional" dental office. Their new office is a 3,600 square foot stand alone building with excellent curb appeal. The interior was designed to have the feel of a modern farmhouse style, including spectacular custom cabinets, countertops and interior finish details.

We estimated that a project like this would take about 1 year from initial concept until completion and move in. That was precisely how long it took. This included architectural design, permits, site work, and construction.

Challenges and Take-aways

This was a fun project to work on. We had some permit issues compared to other projects but nothing that we had not delt with before.

This project reinforced to always listen intently to your client so that you build exactly what they want. Adam and his team will spend the next 25+ years in this building and we want to make sure they enjoy going to work every day.

Urgent Care Center Elkton

Bay Country Associates finished a complete interior renovation of an existing 5,000. sq. ft. building located in Elkton, MD. The project required a full demolition of existing plumbing, heating, and AC systems. The building was transformed into a redesigned state-of-the-art diagnostic and Urgent Care Center for Union Hospital. The fit-out included six examination rooms, x-ray facilities, laboratory space, and advanced mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems to meet the medical demands. The complete renovation took 18 weeks from start to finish. Urgent Care Center Perryville

Bay Country Associates was tasked with renovating a former doctor’s office and transforming it into an Urgent Care Center located in Perryville, MD for Union Hospital. The 3,000 sq. ft. renovation was joined with the adjacent 2,000 sq. ft. MRI center to become a combined 5,000 sq. ft. Urgent Care Center. A joint lobby, reception desk, and waiting area was constructed to complete the conversion. The job required that the MRI center would remain open during construction, therefore, a substantial amount of work was done on nights and weekends to ensure that there were no lost patient days. Miranda Family Dentistry

Bay Country Associates was given the project of constructing a 2,400 sq. ft. dental office on an existing lot in Bel Air, MD. The building project for Miranda Family Dentistry was completed in 6 months from start to finish. The office includes 6 operatories and a sterilization room. Bay Country Associates had to face sophisticated electrical and plumbing requirements in order to install high-tech dental equipment. AASKI Technology Fit-Out (2)

Bay Country Associates completed a second tenant fit-out for AASKI Technology, a government technology contractor. The 13,000 sq. ft. project consisted of a new construction of 9,000 sq. ft. and a renovation of 4,000 sq. ft. The job required extensive government security compliance in the construction of a SCIF room, which will be used to process classified information. Project also included a 60 seat conference room armed with high-density sound-proof insulation. Additionally, a sophisticated HVAC system was installed to keep the many computer servers running at optimum levels. Bay Country Associates spent a considerable amount of time upgrading the electrical system to meet the demand of running on a single meter. This high-security project was completed start to finish in 90 days, with work on nights and weekends to meet the tight deadline of the defense contracts.

Union Hospital Wellness Center Fit-Out

Bay Country Associates was given the task of renovating the third floor of Union Hospital’s Singerly Medical Office Building in Elkton, MD. The 6,700 sq. ft. interior fit-out was completed in just 89 days and included extensive architectural requirements. The high occupancy load of the space required a sophisticated, 17-zone multiple HVAC system to handle the all-glass perimeter and to meet the strict climate restrictions of medical patients. Due to existing medical offices below, all core drilling and floor penetrations had to be completed during nights and weekends. The finished result is a new employee wellness center and a relocation of ATI Physical Therapy and Cardio-Kinetics, both of which provide rehab services for the hospital. i-lighting Expansion

Bay Country Associates completed a 4,000 sq. ft. expansion project for i-lighting, LLC, a custom LED manufacturer in North East, MD. The expansion was under a tight timeline as it was completed in less than 90 days. This project included rigorous building requirements in order to install advanced manufacturing equipment that i-lighting needs for their operations. It also included very elaborate electrical and HVAC requirements, such as an automated venting system and HVAC chiller. Bay Country Associates spent a considerable amount of time upgrading the entire electrical service system to meet the electrical load requirements of the manufacturing equipment. 

North Bridge Dental

Bay Country Associates was given the project of constructing a 2,400 sq. ft. dental office on an existing lot in Elkton, MD. The building project for North Bridge Dental was completed in 6 months from start to finish. The office includes 6 operatories and a sterilization room.
