Union Hospital Wellness Center Fit-Out

Bay Country Associates was given the task of renovating the third floor of Union Hospital’s Singerly Medical Office Building in Elkton, MD. The 6,700 sq. ft. interior fit-out was completed in just 89 days and included extensive architectural requirements. The high occupancy load of the space required a sophisticated, 17-zone multiple HVAC system to handle the all-glass perimeter and to meet the strict climate restrictions of medical patients. Due to existing medical offices below, all core drilling and floor penetrations had to be completed during nights and weekends. The finished result is a new employee wellness center and a relocation of ATI Physical Therapy and Cardio-Kinetics, both of which provide rehab services for the hospital.
